Truckee-Tahoe Visitor Channel Expands To Northstar
1, 2007 (Tahoe City, CA) The New Tahoe Company announced on Thursday,
February 1, the expansion of its Lake Tahoe Visitor Network into Northstar
on Charter Cable’s channel 14. The channel will provide unique
visitor-oriented content to homes and condominiums in Northstar.
With the expansion, the Truckee-Tahoe Visitor Channel (TTTV) be providing rich, timely, and valuable content to over 1,600 hotel rooms, residences and condominiums around the area. The network’s custom-produced content mix includes up-to-the-minute weather imagery, event listings, resort conditions, and a variety of visitor information on activities, shopping, dining, and things to do around the region.
“Reaching visitors with timely and informative content has long been a challenge,” said Kurt Althof, New Tahoe’s VP of Development, and a long-time Tahoe resident. “Our network is specifically designed to reach people when and where they need information.”
TTTV is currently available in over 400 guest rooms in Truckee at the Best Western, Hampton Inn, Cedar House Sport Hotel, Holiday Inn Express, and the Inn at Truckee. It will be available on Channel 14 in mid-February throughout Northstar-at-Tahoe™.
In addition to TTTV, the New Tahoe Company also operates the Squaw Valley Visitor Channel (SVTV) that blankets Squaw Valley lodging properties as well as the mountain, and under an arrangement with Northstar-at-Tahoe™, the Northstar Resort Network. In total, New Tahoe’s Lake Tahoe Visitor Network (TTTV and SVTV) is available to visitors in approximately 2,700 guest rooms, residences, and condominiums.
